OPEN WATER DIVER
Get Your PADI Open Water Diving Certification on Koh Tao
Would you like to experience an absence of gravity and become independent underwater world? In 3-4 days, you will learn the theory and skills necessary required of independent divers. You will then be ready to discover the tropical underwater world!
You will learn everything in a relaxed, safe and perfectly adapted environment, all under the supervision of a professional dive instructor. Four actual dives in open water!! You will be trained to dive to a maximum depth of 18 meters. Since your PADI license is internationally recognized, you could dive all over the world!
PADI Open Water Divers are qualified to:
- Dive within their limits, their training and experience with a buddy, without the supervision of a PADI professional, whilst applying the knowledge and skills that they have learnt during the diving course.
- Get diving equipment; get their tanks filled and other scuba diving services under supervision.
- Plan, carry out and log non-decompression dives in open water under conditions for which they have been trained and according to their experience. (Only with adequate equipment and accompanied by a buddy)
- Continue their diving education with a specialist ‘Adventure Dive’ from the PADI Adventures in Diving program or take a specialty course.
PADI Open Water Diving Certification
Minimum age: 10 years
Maximum depth: 18 meters, 12 meters for 10-11 year olds.
Location: Pool or confined water (shallow bay) and open water (sea).

Just wondering the dates that you hold your courses. I see you have a package for the open water course and the advanced. What dates are those held. I will be there around May 13. My girlfriend isn’t much of a diver so is it allowed for her to come for the ride and just snorkle? Would it be extra? Thanks!
